We’re looking for hands on learning for delegates with takeaway resources and want you to let us know what you want delegates to get out of your session.   The themes we’d like you to cover in your presentation are:

  • Global citizenship
  • Effective use of ICT in teaching and learning
  • Social Action
  • Inquiry based learning
  • Project based learning
  • Solo Taxonomy
  • Field trips within the Social Sciences
  • Real world problems
  • Local social sciences
  • Global social sciences
  • Social empowerment
  • Examples of connecting to the outside world
  • 21st century learning skills
  • Junior social sciences
  • Any senior social science subjects

Presentation Formats might include

  • Workshops – 60 or 90 minutes
  • Brilliant Bursts – 30 minutes
  •  Posters – Q & A with small groups

Which level will you present for?

You will be asked to indicate which level your workshop will be aimed at (you may choose more than one):

  • Primary years 1 – 4
  • Primary years 5 -8
  • Middle School years 9 – 10
  • Senior year 11
  • Senior years 12 – 13
